Roman Goss, born 1980, is an abstract artist based in Poland. He lives near the small city of Kozuchow.
Roman studied at the High School of Culture and the Arts in Poland, and in parallel he studied painting independently with teachers, whilst living a busy cultural life, playing musical instruments, academic vocals and attending theatres and art exhibitions.
It was in 2017 that Roman realised he could not live without art and started to paint full time. In the beginning he painted mostly still lives and landscapes, but it was abstract art that he felt the inner freedom and a way of self-expression.
Roman comments “The basics of the classical realist school of painting have not been wasted here; on the contrary, they have helped me a lot and instilled in me a noble taste, a vision of complex colour solutions, variety of textures and multi-layers”.
Roman is fully dedicated to abstract art, searching for unique and expressive abstract shapes, colours and texture, stating “In each of my next paintings I try to find and show something special and new, to open for myself and for the viewer some new horizons.”
Romans’ paintings can be found in private collections throughout Europe and further afield in Japan and the US.
