Andrew Hemingway 'A Small Group of Pastels' 8 - 29 July 2017

The remarkable still life pastels of Andrew Hemingway seek out the beauty of ordinary things.  Exquisitely rendered and highly detailed, these are paintings of enormous depth and astonishing skill - they are simply mesmerising.  Due to the intense concentration required, output is small and consequently paintings limited, hence 'A Small Group of Pastels'

Born in Yorkshire, he attended the Barnsley School of Art, and took a Degree in Fine Art with the History of Art at Camberwell.  He exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and his work can be found in private collections worldwide.

The gallery has represented Andrew since 1990.
